RATE INCREASE:Effective July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, there will be a 5% increase in rates from ACI (Alameda County Industries) for the collection of Garbage, Recycling, and Organics. This rate increase is consistent with the City’s franchise agreement with ACI which determines how rates are set. For the vast majority of Alamedans who subscribe to a 20- or 32-gallon container, this translates to an increase of approximately $1.87 and $2.36, respectively, per month.
