Account Number Change Information
On October 1, 2024, your Alameda County Industries (ACI) of Alameda Account number will be changing.
Why is this change occurring?
This change is to streamline our customer service database. There are no additional changes to ACI’s service structure.
Account Number Change – What will my new account number be?
Alameda account numbers will remain six (6) digits long, but the 1st digit of every account will now be a “1”. Below are examples of account number changes.
Old Account: New Account:

eTower – Will my online account log-in still be valid?
Yes, your log-in will link to your new account number. If you would like to create an online account to access your account, make online payments, and more, click here.
Paperless Invoicing – I currently receive my invoices via email. Do I need to do anything to stay enrolled in the program?
All customers currently enrolled in paperless invoicing will continue uninterrupted. You will not need to take any action to continue with this program. If you want to enroll in paperless billing, click here for more information.
Autopay – I am enrolled in autopay by credit card or bank account with ACI. Do I need to do anything to stay enrolled in the program?
Customers currently enrolled in autopay with ACI will not need to take any action to continue with this program.

Online Banking Customers – I send ACI payments from my bank’s online payment site. Will I need to make any changes to this process?
Yes. You must update the ACI account number stored in your bank’s online payment site for your one-time or recurring payments to ACI.
Service Changes – Will my ACI collection services change when my account number changes?
No, there will be no changes to your ACI collection services.
Remittance Address – Will the ACI remittance address change?
No, it will not change. Please continue to send your payments to the same address. If you are unsure of the address, please review your invoice’s remittance stub.

Alameda Office – Will the Alameda office be closing because of this change?
No, the Alameda office will not close and will maintain the same office hours.
